The Mormons’ revenge on America

Ironically, as the first black president begins hiring his staff, California voted to scale back civil rights.
Seeking revenge for the outlawing of plural marriage, the Mormon church poured 73 million dollars into a campaign that, with a tiny margin, succeeded in adjusting our constitution to fit a religiously fundamentalist, and hateful world view.
I’d expect as much from the Mormons, and Catholics. But what blows my mind is called the “Obama effect”.
Apparently, a large amount of black voters voted yes on prop 8. This proves that all men are equal. Equally prejudiced, and small minded, that is.
Only decades after obtaining the right to vote, while welcoming the first president of it’s own race, this demographic willingly revokes the civil rights of another.
Seemingly free from persecution, they eagerly join the mob lynching those that stood with them when they asked to be treated equal.
It goes to show that regardless of color, people suck.
My respect, and solidarity to all those out there protesting this bullshit!
