Wal-Mart deadly Stampede: USA officialy joins third world

I haven’t been to Long Island, but the Wal-Mart in Los Angeles is like the Superdome right after hurricane Katrina: a post-catastrophic mess with poor people aimlessly wandering around.
I try to stay away from the apocalyptic shopping wasteland, but hey, with Four Marie Callenders Country Fried Steaks for only one dollar, I will suspend my integrity and brace the stench of LA’s putrid armpit: Van Nuys.
Without needing to change the constitution, I believe that the traditional pursuit of happiness is defined by not waiting in line, not driving in rush hour, and generally avoiding crowds. My religion forbids me to visit the mall on busy shopping days. I don’t shop on weekends, and get my groceries on Tuesday nights.
As with most belief systems, mine gets tested. Like when I read a thanksgiving FRYS ad for a Mac Mini for $199.00. On Black Friday, 2007, blinded by temptation, I cruised out to Burbank. An abomination, especially when I learned that the limited amount of items available was sold out at 5 am this morning. Sales were on a first come first serve basis, and there were no “rain checks”.
Two hours later, as I finally pulled back into my driveway, my faith was stronger than ever before.
My religion is based on the revelation from the book of Nostraboris that speaks of mega retail corporations causing the demise of western civilization.
Like a cancer, Wal-Mart stores spread across America. A Billion dollar empire that drains public funds by sending it’s mostly part-time workforce to the State for health care.
Enabled by “Business friendly” government, they use imported Chinese goods, kept artificially cheap by government subsidies, as leverage to low-ball American manufactures, in a selfless effort to keep prices low for us, the consumer.
Conveniently, these low prices also help driving small local businesses into the ground.
After eroding the landscape from a fertile land of opportunity to a desert, Wal-Mart looks like an oasis.
The natives flock to them for inferior jobs and goods.
But it gets worse.
Wal-Mart not only lowers our standard of living, it lowers our moral, sense of community and unity and hollows out our souls. Only in a desolate place, long abandoned by peace, love and understanding does a man get killed for standing between a mob and some priced down TV sets.
If I yell “FIRE” in a crowded nightclub, simply to drive traffic to the curb where I own a hot dog stand, causing a stampede that kills people, I get sued and locked up.
When Wal-Mart advertises sales of big screen TV’s on a a first come first serve basis, and causes people to get killed in the stampede it causes, they get free advertising.
We just joined the third world.

The problem with this country is BOTH the Democrats and Republicans. Anyone who seriously thinks that one side isn’t corrupt or slaves to Corporate America hasn’t done an adequate job of paying attention. To the Republicans: The GW administration will go down in History as one of the worst administrations. They eroded your constitutional rights, expanded the power of the wealthy elite, invaded countries under false pretenses, destroyed diplomatic relations with the rest of the world, and spent money like it was going out of style. To the Democrats: Obama is a dud. He promised much and has turned out to be another corporate lackey. He made deals with big pharma to ensure you could not get your medication cheaper elsewhere, he flip flopped on military tribunals, he refuses to fix health care properly through nationalization or single payer, he populates his inner circle with more Wall Street insiders, he spends money on bailouts and useless stimulus packages.
