Cost-Plus Health Care: The American Leech

The Haliburton of disease, the insurance industry doesn’t exist to provide health care to the sick, but simply to take in more money than it spends by speculating on human tragedy.
The need to make a profit not only raises the cost of health care, it makes limiting access a necessity. The lack of alternatives to commercial care explain why 50,000,000 taxpaying citizens of the wealthiest country in the world are unable to get medical treatment.
Not only does this system endanger the lives of those millions, the leeching insurance corporations have been routinely over billing state and Federal health programs. For-profit health care DIRECTLY adds to the deficit, and still we are told that channeling public funds to buy private jets, bonuses and spa retreats is a better option than investing in a single payer option.
To prevent Obama from ending the looting of public funds, an organization called “Conservatives for Patients Rights” is flooding the airwaves with propaganda. It’s website also provides guidelines for the mindless, birth certificate demanding foot soldiers that chant “KEEP GOVERNMENT OUT OF MEDICARE!”.
The free market heads disrupting town halls seem unconcerned that CPR is run by Rick Scott, a Dr Evil look alike former Insurance company CEO who in 1997 defrauded the government for 1.7 Billion dollars.
Do health insurance corporations hold town hall meetings for sick people to disrupt? Can uninsured Americans spend millions on ad campaigns that spread misinformation and fear?
Enough with this bi-partisan facade. Obama didn’t get elected to ask permission from senators funded by the insurance lobby to end the injustice. At the end of the day, it’s hard to scare someone with horror stories of government run health care when they are not even considered a patient under the current system.
In stead of running his proposal by them, Barack will simply have to man up and use his mandate, just like his predecessor, and ram it through them.

Barack Obama as well as the remainder of his progressive mafia should really be embarrassed with them selves. This is a complete outrage. I had been under the impression that once the us president will take office he is required to declare an oath that will uphold and also protect the constitution of the us. Nowhere inside the Constitution did it give the federal government the authority to be able to enact and also implement legislation like the medical care reform bill.
