Rick Perry: “What Pledge?”

As far as political qualities go, Rick Perry has them all: A plastic appearance, and the will to say whatever will make him liked by stupid people. Watching him chant: “state’s rights!” will only remind a few people of the sixties, when the Klan did the same.

Perry’s secession rhetoric is about as shameless and insincere as it gets. However, in the USA in 2009, wiping your ass with the pledge of allegiance will further your political career.
